At the ASEAN Gardens

Off I went to Intramuros last Wednesday with an official from the Department of Foreign Affairs named Mon with the mission of helping him “rescue” the ASEAN Gardens within the walled city. Since our beloved country will be hosting another ASEAN summit this December, Mon has taken it upon himself to revitalize the Gardens and, for funding, plans to seek out the help of the business conglomerate in which I work. Since my boss, who’s really Mon’s original contact and buddy, couldn’t come, I was appointed to see the gardens for myself, hear out Mon’s plans, and, well, make my recommendations afterwards. Sounds pompous? You bet! LOL
